Firsts for Kayla

Kayla had a bunch of 'firsts' this memorial Day Weekend! She had her first solid food, went in the pool in our backyard and then went in the community pool! She enjoyed it all!

These are our nephews, Austin and Steven! This is a picture from Christmas. They are growing so fast. Steven turned 4 yesterday!

4 Month Check Up!

Kayla had her 4 month check up today. She weighs 16 lbs, 9 1/2 oz. (she is in the 97th percentile). She is 24 1/4" long (in the 50th percentile) and her head was 42 1/2 cm. (in the 50th percentle). We were also told she is now ready for solids!!!! We are going to start cereal this weekend with her!!!

Bath Time!

Kayla is very camera shy so I am happy she smiled at least a little. Most of the time, when Kayla takes a bath she is smiling, laughing, kicking and moving her arms. It is the funniest thing to watch. Of course, when I try to take a video- she gets quiet and doesn't want to play. I took a video anyway! Enjoy!

Surprise Family

This is the youngest member of the Surprise Family. Kieran was born in November, 2007!

This is Jesse and Melissa's oldest son, Brayden. He is going to be 3 soon!

This is Jesse and Melissa. Melissa and I met in college and have been great friends since. They live in New York and are the biggest Red Sox fans!

Kayla is 4 months old today and I couldn't wait to break out a new toy that said it was for 4 months +. Well, Kayla didn't really like her jumper and I don't think she is quite ready for it yet. Check her out!

This is Tyler James. He was born on April 7th! He is our dear friends, Jennifer and Jaime's son! We can't wait to meet Ty!

Doug and I are so proud to announce the arrival of Kayla Jaime. She was born on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 2:49pm. She was born at 6 lbs, 9 oz, 19 3/4". She is just perfect and we couldn't love her more!
