Big Girl Carseat

When Kayla had her 6 month checkup the doctor suggested we put Kayla in the next size up carseat. Of course, I didn't want to becuase my baby is growing so fast and I am in complete denial. Well, I can barely carry her in her infant carrier- so we decided it was time to put her in the 'big girl carseat'. Kayla wasn's sure what to think of it, but is adjusting just fine!

BPA Free Bottles

My friend Melissa told me I can return all my Dr. Brown bottles to Babies R Us and exchange them for BPA free bottles. So, I called Babies R Us here in Newnan and they said, yes. You don't have to have any boxes or receipts. You just have to bring in all the bottles and parts and you can get credit for BPA free products. I was able to return all of Kayla's BPA Dr. Brown bottles (8 and 4 oz) and get the new BPA free Dr. Brown bottles and a bunch of BPA free sippy cups. I returned 12- 8 oz and 8- 4 oz bottles ($97 worth) and got 12 more 8 oz BPA free Dr. Brown bottles and 7 BPA free sippy cups. You don't have to buy the same brand, but Kayla does well with the Dr. Brown's so I stayed with that brand! I was so torn when all the news came out about BPA, but now I have no reason to keep feeding Kayla from BPA bottles. I figured better safe than sorry. If you know anyone that is still using BPA bottles you may want to let them know they can exchange them for BPA free ones for free!
