First Birthday photos and 12 month check up!

I can't believe my sweet princess is already a year old! Here are some of the pictures we had taken for her 1st Birthday (I edited them myself!)!

She also had her 12 month check up with the doctor last Friday.

22lbs - 75th percentile

30 inches long - 75th percentile

We went from the high 90's to the 70's - woo hoo

I had to go to Orlando, FL for a training for my job. Doug and Kayla decided to join me! We had a great time.

We can't believe our little girl is 1 year old today! What a great year it's been. We've had so much fun watching our sweetheart grow! We had a great time celebrating her birthday with her family and friends!!!

3-D Ultra Sound!

My parents flew in today from Connecticut to celebrate Kayla's 1st birthday. Once they got here they surprised me with a 3-D Ultra Sound! Here are some of the pics we got of Baby Boy Anctil!

More Teeth!

Check out my new teeth on top!

I knew Kayla was getting one tooth on top, but today I went to put Orajel on her gums and I felt another tooth on top. I actually felt 3 teeth on top, but could only see two. Of course, I took out my camera and got a pic for y'all! By the way, I think she has Doug's eyebrow's!!!

New Crib

Kayla tested out the new crib to make sure it will be good enough for her little brother.

Lou and Joan gave us a beautiful crib for Baby Boy Anctil and Bob and Bonnie gave us the mattress to go in it. Doug, Kayla and I spent our Saturday night clearing out one of the spare bedrooms and put together Baby Boy Anctil's crib. Check out the pics!!!

Happy New Year!

2008 was a great year for Doug and I. The year started out with the arrival of our precious baby girl, Kayla, and continued to be the best year of my life. We have enjoyed everyday watching Kayla grow and learn. She brings so much joy to our lives and we can't wait for what 2009 will bring!

This is a picture from the morning after. Kayla wasn't feeling the "Happy New Year" hat on New Year's Eve, but wore it for a split second the next day!

We had our first New Year's Eve as parents. Rich and Lisa invited the 3.5 of us over for delicious apps, drinks (no alcohol for me!) and games. We had a great time bringing in the new year with our best friends!
